I consider myself extremely lucky to have had dogs in my life from the moment I was born. Mostly working Labradors, Spaniels and Terriers. From a very young age I would go out across the fields with one of our Labradors and the bag of training dummies. I loved being with the dogs and watching them retrieve. A love that has only grown stonger. Before becoming a dog walker I worked at a family-run Greyhound rescue kennel and then a Boarding kennels which was also home to a small dog rescue charity.
I am the proud mum of three beautiful Labradors, two of which are rescue ex-breeding bitches from a puppy farm in Wales. So happy to be giving them a much better life. I love to teach and work with my dogs. We do Gundog work and more recently we have started with Scentwork and Tracking. This has been particularly beneficial for my youngest rescue who is very nervous and lacking in confidence.
I have made a commitment to furthering my knowledge of canine behaviour, care and welfare. Please click on the link below to view my certificates and to see my CPD Portfolio of Evidence.
